SILICONES

Silicones are products derived from organic compounds of silicon. Silicon (Si, N 14 and AR 28.1) is one of the most abundant elements in nature, contained in many rocks (es.la silica SiO ₂) or otherwise as a type of silicate. It looks like rock solid gray-blue with metallic luster and a crystalline structure similar to diamond. Silicon, extracted from the rocks with a purity of 99% is used as base material for the preparation of so-called silicon.
